Vibhu is a home baker by profession and she bakes the most delicious cakes you’ve ever had. We interacted with her & got to know about her fascinating journey & her passion for baking.
TELL US HOW IT ALL STARTED FOR YOU ?
I started baking for my sons, some friends and relatives and they loved my bakes. As I kept getting inspiring reviews and more people started recommending me for bakes, I started to grow as a professional baker. It was all unintentional in the beginning . I have always been an artist i.e. professional painter, so Baking also came naturally to me.
HOW WAS THE INITIAL EXPERIENCE OF KOTA ?
In late 2017, I moved to India with my kids. I originally belonged to Rajasthan so the plan has always been to return to the roots.
After coming to Kota, initially I wasn’t sure if I would get those ingredients here which I had always used in my cakes and if people of this city would like my cakes. But to my surprise I found everything I needed here and people didn’t just like my cakes, they loved them and recommended them to many more people.
Slow and eventually I was baking more than ever. I decided to take one step forward & gave my passion a name : Glazed Spoon. I started posting pictures on Facebook & Instagram of cakes that I make for people. More orders started coming in!

And the most important ingredient of all: they are baked with lots of love so when you & your dear ones eat them you’ll feel the difference.
