A plastic bottle can brighten up your home on the occasion of diwali and an empty cookie box can add more sweetness to the gifts for closed ones. If you adore unique, eco-friendly and handmade artifacts, then you must visit the exhibition by sachetan Society which will make you look again at the useful material you generally throw away in the name of garbage.

This exhibition and workshop stands on the pillars of two objectives: firstly, managing the scrap artistically while contributing a bit towards environment protection. Secondly, increasing the shelf life of waste material by providing knowledge to people about redecorating & rebuilding the trash.

Empty containers, glass bottles, cookie boxes and even shreds of clothes, all this and more will make your shelves eye catchy and expand the utility of your discarded material.

All the funds raised through the exhibition will be utilized for the girls of NAARI SHALA, adding a smile on their artwork.

So this diwali, REFUSE the extra expenditure on fancy lights. REDUCE the suffering of environment. RECYCLE & reunite with the artist in you. REUSE the junk. And REDECORATE the idea of repair!!

SACHETAN (which means, in full consciousness ) is a non-profit organisation started by Dr. Bharti Gaur in 2013. With 20 years of experience in development sector, Bharti is working with the aim to build an awareness about environment through creativity.
